Mármoles Sotomar S.L. is a medium-sized family business. For over 30 years, we have been dedicated to the production of natural stone.
Our factory and headquarters are located in the region of Macael (Almería), one of the areas of Spain with the greatest history of marble extraction and production. It is near the quarries of “Blanco Macael,” the Spanish white marble we use in many of our projects due to its beauty, strength and durability.
We specialize in natural, 1 cm or 3/8”-thick stone tiles. Additionally, our factory is able to produce all types of standard tiles in other thicknesses, as well as “cut to size,” providing everything you need for your customized projects.
Mármoles Sotomar S.L. is conscious of the need to conduct our activities with the least possible environmental impact, so we properly treat any waste we generate, and always choose products that are the most efficient and least-polluting. Currently we are working toward our ISO14001 certification, which accredits the implementation of environmental management systems according to European standards.

Mármoles Sotomar S.L. produces 1cm. or 3/8” thick. Natural Stone Tiles in several finishes, Polished, Honed or Brushed (Antic) and a wide range of formats.

Over the last few years, we have replaced the expanded polystyrene packaging boxes for our 1 cm tiles with cardboard packaging which protect the materials and can also be recycled.
