Skansekaia Project
Ventilated Façade of “Capri Limestone” of 3 cm. thickn. with Honed surface and protective treatment against humidity and salinity.
The challenge of this project was to protect the limestone against the extreme conditions: very low temperatures and specially the environment with salt and humidity coming from the ocean.
The Spanish Limestone with the protective product was tested at the laboratory and the results were very positive.

The project consists of three different building totaling 17,500 Sq m located in Skansekaia, about 500 km. to the north far from Oslo, Norway that will house the offices of a Shipping Company.
The buildings have been built in the harbor basin, practically in the water. The employees say: It’s like standing on the bridge of a boat.
